Diagnosis
Vertex with a groove in front of posterior ocelli; mesoscutum metallic dark purple, scutellum metallic bluish-green; mesoscutum with raised and weak reticulation, midlobe with posterior ¼ with engraved reticulation, notauli with posterior ½ as triangular impressions, forming posterior ½ of midlobe to a triangle. Similar to amadeus but with larger eyes and shorter petiole.
